Course Overview

The much acclaimed ‘Faldo Championship’ course at Marriott’s Shadow Ridge opened in 2001.

Shadow Ridge was our first project in America and I am extremely pleased with the way it turned out. The stunning (often snow-capped) mountain backdrop provided a wonderful setting, but our major inspiration here emanated from the classic sand-belt courses of Australia. Our fairways are typically generous and our bunkering style is strikingly bold with greens that have plenty of subtle undulations to reward and encourage a variety of approach shots.
