Lead Golf Course Architect

Andrew Haggar


Andrew has more than 20 years’ experience in more than 20 different countries throughout Europe, the Caribbean, Asia and Africa, working for three international golf course design firms in that time. As a Lead Architect he has undertaken projects ranging from sensitive remodelling work on old and traditional golf courses to resort masterplanning, and the design of Championship golf courses; Clients have included private clubs, major development groups and owner/operators with extensive course portfolios.

With a creative approach to projects which stems from his original Landscape Architecture training. Andrew’s work benefits from the influence of extensive travel and his interest in the landscape, outdoor environment and other forms of design.

Design projects that Andy has lead include Roco Ki in the Dominican Republic, Ledreborg Palace in Denmark, Monte Rocha in Portugal, Vattanac Golf Resort in Cambodia and the German 2022 Ryder Cup Bid Course redesign.

Gareth Williams
Gareth Williams

EIGCA, MA Landscape Architecture, BSc Hons

Gareth brings both technical and design expertise to the Faldo Design team. With a background in Landscape Architecture and an Associate Member of the European Institute of Golf Course Architects, he is involved in project management, conceptual and detailed course design & masterplanning for the firm’s active projects. He works closely with Clients and their consultants, particularly during planning stages, supervises project requirements & logistics and is responsible for the preparation of all graphics, construction plans & quantifications.

Born out of a passion for the natural landscape, sustainability in golf course development strongly influences Gareth’s work, as does his interest in efficient and contemporary design. Reflecting the changing golf market, he is a strong advocate of different forms of the game – including par 3 golf and 6-hole professional tournaments.

His experience includes project and design work in Europe, the Americas & Asia, including at Elea Estate in Cyprus, Laguna Lang Co in Vietnam, Lough Erne in Northern Ireland, Monte Rocha in Portugal and for the German 2022 Ryder Cup Bid Course redesign.

LeslieAnne Wade joins the Faldo management team leading all marketing and communications efforts after 17 years as the top PR executive at CBS Sports and more than two decades as one of the most well-known sports marketing/PR executives in the business. During her tenure with CBS, Wade directed the total media relations efforts surrounding the Network's coverage of the PGA Tour, PGA Championship, The Masters Tournament, NCAA on CBS, NFL on CBS, The Superbowl, US Open Tennis and the Winter Olympic Games.

A trusted advisor to athletes, broadcasters, sports executives and more, Wade is recognized as a groundbreaking woman in the industry and has been honored as the Women In Sports and Events Woman of the Year and The Garden State Woman of the Year. She was also the first woman honored by the National Football Foundation as Distinguished American by the NJ Chapter.
